Does anyone have suggestions on where to meet and spend time with other moms (or dads)? I've joined a few web-communities like this one which have been nice but I want some real places to meet people. My daughter is 6 mo. old now and I would love to be around some other babies and parents. I'm especially looking for groups or activities that are low cost.

A picnic gathering at the zoo sounds fun! I work during the week and most meetup groups I know of meet during the weekdays. But if we could do this on a Saturday or Sunday with moms and dads that might be neat. Either way, I'm interested too! | Thu, 08/06/2009 - 8:38am |
